Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have. We never sell your personal information.
01The short version
- We collect only what we need to run your account and the site.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
- We never see your password or your full card number.
- You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time: support@esportkiller.com.
02Information we collect
- Account: your email address, account identifier and sign-in method, provided through Clerk when you sign in.
- What you save: saved picks, saved research, watchlists, alerts and preferences you create in the app.
- Membership: founder invitation and access status; if paid plans are enabled, subscription status and payment references from our payment processor (not your card number).
- Device and usage: standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, used to keep the service secure and working.
- Support: whatever you choose to include when you contact us.
03How we use it
- To sign you in, keep your account secure and give you access to the features of your membership.
- To save and show your picks, research and preferences.
- To keep the service reliable, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To answer your questions and tell you about important changes to the service or these policies.
We do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
04Cookies and local storage
We use only what the site needs to work: sign-in session cookies set by Clerk, and small settings stored in your browser such as your language and preferred props view. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. To measure page speed we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you across other sites.
05Who helps us run the service
Trusted providers process data on our behalf, only to run Esport Killer: Cloudflare (hosting, security and storage), Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments, if enabled), Discord (only if you connect it) and our email provider. Each is bound by its own privacy terms. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the safety and rights of our members and the service.
06How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account we remove your personal information within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example payment records). Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be kept.
07Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California privacy law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or limit certain uses. Email support@esportkiller.com from the address on your account and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
08Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to the people who need it, and sign-in is handled by a dedicated authentication provider. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you we will tell you as the law requires.
09Age
Esport Killer is for adults only (18+, or 21+ where required). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has an account, contact us and we will remove it.
10Changes and contact
We will post any update here with a new effective date and tell members about significant changes. Contact: support@esportkiller.com.
